Carhartt Ball Caps
Carhartt's caps are comfortable and low-profile, but they're nothing special – much like any other ball cap sold or given away today. Unless you're a major fan of the brand and want to support it, there's no real incentive to purchase these caps.
On the other hand, their wool blend is not only smart looking, it's also warm. Made from 65% wool, it's like the winter hat for men who love their caps.
Face Masks
Carhartt Hats makes a face mask and though it looks warm, it's made from 100% acrylic. After hours of prolonged wear, that acrylic can start to rub against your face, causing a rash or other forms of irritation. The Thinsulate lining and extra length in the neck are all great features, but Carhartt definitely needs to change the lining on these masks.
Ear Flap Caps
The Carhartt Work Flex caps with ear flaps are perfect for the job site. The bill keeps the sun out of your eyes while the insulated ear caps keep you warm. The hats have a touch of spandex in them to make them stretchy and they're insulated with a quilted fleece lining.
For all you sportsmen, the Work Flex cap with ear flaps is also available in the camouflage pattern. However, it's made with cotton duck and has a 100% polyester fleece lining.
Acrylic or Fleece Watch Cap
Also known as a toque, this versatile winter hat is perfect for cold weather jobs, outdoor duties or a weekend spent hunting. It comes in classic Carhartt colors, camouflage and high-visibility neons. It's made of acrylic, so while not as warm as wool, it will repel moisture better and last longer.
Carhartt Fashion Hats
In addition to its workwear line, Carhartt also has a Streetwear line of clothing that focuses on urban and fashion forward trends. The majority of their customers for this particular brand are young males who are either involved in hip hop music or skateboarding.
The Carhartt Streetwear line also makes Carhartt hats. These are typically patterned baseball caps, newsboy caps and fedoras – all of which sport the popular Carhartt logo.
These hats are unavailable through Carhartt workwear and must be purchased through a Carhartt Streetwear store or a licensed retailer.
